One of the most common problems associated with nasotracheal intubation is observed at a time when the endotracheal tube is about to cross the vocal cords but stops making progress. The tube tends to follow a course which is forward and upward, the trachea’s main direction is downward. The solution is to have a tool that not only will control the tip of the tube, but will also bend it down in order to conform with the direction of the trachea.
